The QuickBooks-to-Sage 50 Accounting Conversion Wizard makes it possible to quickly and easily convert your QuickBooks company data into a Sage 50 Accounting company file. Your company data must be from QuickBooks 2011 or 2012 in order to work with this wizard.
Note: If you have an older version of QuickBooks or want to import records from QuickBooks .IIF files, use the Import/Export Wizard on the File menu to import these records into Sage 50 Accounting.
Before you convert your data, there are a few tasks that you need to perform in QuickBooks to ensure that the conversion goes smoothly. Take a look at the Pre-Conversion Checklist for detailed information about what you need to do. Print this list and make sure you have done everything on it before running the conversion tool.
This wizard can convert your QuickBooks Lists into Sage 50 Accounting settings and records, as well as import all your transactions for your current fiscal year and historical transactions with outstanding balances. After your company has been converted, you'll want to make sure that your new company contains all of the information that your business needs.
