Use the Company File Check & Repair Tool

There are two ways to access the Company File Check & Repair tool:

In Sage Simply Accounting

In the Home window on the Maintenance menu, choose Advanced Database Check.

Without opening Sage Simply Accounting

  1. In Windows on the Start Menu, choose All Programs, and then Sage Simply Accounting, followed by Company File Check & Repair.
  2. In Company Data File, click Browse to select the file you want scanned.
  3. Select the type of scan you want to do.

Caution: The advanced mode is a more detailed scan and may require a longer scanning time with large files.
