Turn On or Off Compacting Data Before Making a Backup

Before you can perform this task

To compact your database before making a backup:

1. In the Home window, on the Settings menu, choose Settings.
2. On the left side of the window, click Company and then Backup.
3. Select the Compact data before backing up to save disk space option.
4. Click OK.
