Modify an Income Statement Report

Select the Income Statement that you want to modify:

ClosedStandard Income Statement

  1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre. Select Financials, Income Statement, and then Standard. Click Modify this report.
  2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
  3. Select the Fiscal Year.
  4. Enter the date (Range or Start and Finish) for the report.
  5. (Optional) Select Show Notes to include account notes. (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
  6. (Optional) Select Show Departments if you have turned on the departments feature. Click Select Departments. (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
  7. (Optional) Select Hide Accounts With Zero Balance to exclude an account with zero balance from appearing in the report.
  8. (Optional) Customize:
  9. (Optional) Save the report as a template in My Reports.
  10. Click OK to display the report.

ClosedComparative Income Statement (2 Period)

  1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre. Select Financials, Income Statement, and then Comparative 2 Period. Click Modify this report.
  2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
  3. Select the information you want to use for the First period: Actual, Current Yr Budget, or Previous Yr Budget.
  4. Enter the Start and Finish dates for the period.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the Second period.
  6. Select how the results should be displayed:
    • Amounts only
    • Amounts and difference in percentage
    • Amounts and difference in amounts
  7. (Optional) Select Show notes to include account notes. (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
  8. (Optional) Select Show Departments if you have turned on the departments feature. Click Select Departments. (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
  9. (Optional) Select Hide Accounts With Zero Balance to exclude an account with zero balance from appearing in the report.
  10. (Optional) Customize:
  11. (Optional) Save the report as a template in My Reports.
  12. Click OK to display the report.

ClosedComparative Income Statement (4 Period) (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)

  1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre. Select Financials, Income Statement, and then Comparative 4 Period. Click Modify this report.
  2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
  3. Select the information you want to use for the First period: Actual, Current Yr Budget, or Previous Yr Budget.
  4. Enter the Start and Finish dates for the period.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the Second period.
  6. Select how the results should be displayed:
    • Amounts only
    • Amounts and difference in percentage
    • Amounts and difference in amounts
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 for the Third and Fourth periods.
  8. (Optional) Select Show notes to include account notes.
  9. (Optional) Select Show Departments if you have turned on the departments feature. Click Select Departments.
  10. (Optional) Select Hide Accounts With Zero Balance to exclude an account with zero balance from appearing in the report.
  11. (Optional) Customize:
