Change Your Backup Reminder

Before you can perform this task

Switch to single-user mode (Premium)

Select when to display a reminder to back up your company file:

Session date changes

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. Open Company and select Backups.
  3. Select the Display a backup reminder when session date changes option and select a frequency from the list. If you select Other from the frequency list, enter the number of days as the frequency.
  4. Click OK.

Company file closes

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. Open Company and select Backups.
  3. Select the Display a backup reminder when closing this company option.
  4. Click OK.
