Turn On Departments
        
Before you can perform this task
        
        
        To set up departments 
 in your company:
        
            - In the Home window, 
 on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
 
            - On the left side 
 of the window, click General (Accounts) and 
 then Departments.
 
            - Select the Use Departmental Accounting option.
 
            - (Optional) Add 
 a new department.
 
            - Click OK.
