Importing Records in the New Company Setup Wizard

QuickBooks®, MYOB®, or Quicken® records can be imported into new companies in all editions of Sage 50 Accounting, except the Sage 50 First Step Accounting edition.

When you create a new company, you can use a file exported from QuickBooks, MYOB, Quicken, or other copies of Sage 50 Accounting to import a list of accounts into your new company. The New Company Setup Wizard can also import other company records (vendors, employees, inventory and services, customers, and projects) at the same time as accounts.

All exported files, however, must be prepared in a file format that Sage 50 Accounting can import.
