Close a Bank Account

To close a bank account in Sage 50 Accounting:

1. Close your account at the bank.
2. Ensure this isn't a linked account. If it is, change the linked account.
3. Perform one last account reconciliation to ensure that there are no outstanding transactions or money owed to you by the bank.
4. Delete the account from the Chart of Accounts.
