Register Sage 50 Accounting

1. On the Help menu, select Activate Sage 50 Accounting.
2. Enter the following information:
   • Company Name. Enter your company name as it is shown in your registration confirmation e-mail.
   • Serial Number. This box should be filled in for you. If not, enter the serial number of the Sage 50 Accounting edition that you are trying to activate.

     Your serial number can either be found on the Sage 50 Accounting DVD case or emailed to you if you did not purchase a disc.

   • Account ID. This is your ten-digit account identification number. You can find this number in your registration confirmation e-mail. Do not include any spaces or dashes.
   • Key Code. You will find this in your registration confirmation e-mail. The key code is a string of 23 alphanumeric characters, is not case sensitive, and does not use the letters O and I. If a letter looks like an I or an O, try entering the Key Code again using the numbers one and zero instead.

     Note: If you purchased a monthly use subscription from Sage, click Retrieve my Key Code from Sage 50 Accounting Online to enter your activation key code.

     • To manually enter your key code, check Use this Key Code, and then enter the key code.
     • To have Sage 50 Accounting get it for you, ensure that you are connected to the Internet, and then check Retrieve my Key Code from Sage 50 Accounting Online. Sage 50 Accounting displays a confirmation message once your key code is processed.
3. Click OK.

1. Open Sage 50 Accounting.
2. In the Product Registration window, click Activate Now.
3. Enter the following information:

4. Click OK.

2. Enter the key code you received when you registered your upgrade. The key code is a string of 23 alphanumeric characters, is not case sensitive, and does not use the letters O and I. If a letter looks like an I or O, try entering the Key Code again using the numbers one and zero instead.
   • To manually enter your key code, check Use this Key Code, and then enter the key code.
   • To have Sage 50 Accounting get it for you, ensure that you are connected to the Internet, and then check Retrieve my Key Code from Sage 50 Accounting Online. Sage 50 Accounting displays a confirmation message once your key code is processed.
3. Click OK.

During business hours (Monday through Friday 6:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Time), call 1-888-222-8985 to receive a key code.

If you register by phone, you will receive a new key code.

If you register online, confirm your profile and then print the screen showing your company name, Account ID, and key code.
