Set Up an Inventory Location

Before you can perform this task

To add or modify an inventory location:

  1. In the Home window on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. On the left side of the window, click Inventory & Services and then Locations.
  3. Provide or modify any or all of these details.
  4. In this column Enter or select the following information:
    Location Code Type the location code that appears in location lists
    Description Type a description of the location
    Status

    Click to change the location status to Active or Inactive.

    Note: You cannot change the primary location's status to Inactive

  5. Click OK.
