Importing Records from MYOB

You can easily import records (accounts, vendors, customers, employees, inventory and service items, and projects) from MYOB® into Sage Simply Accounting as a text file.

When you create a new company, Sage Simply Accounting can import any type of record from the New Company Setup Wizard. After you set up a company, you can also use the Import/Export Wizard to import all records, except accounts. When you import records:

• You must be in single-user mode (Premium)
• Sage Simply Accounting does not import transactions (journal entries) from MYOB so that incoming amounts do not put your accounts out of balance
