Enter an Employee's Termination Date

To enter a termination date in an employee record:

  1. Open the employee's record. How?
      1. In the Home window, click Employees & Payroll on the navigation pane.
      2. In the Tasks pane, right-click the Employees icon and select Modify Employee from the menu.
      3. Select an employee from the list and click OK.
  2. On the Personal tab, enter the last day the employee worked for you in the Terminate box. You can also enter a date in the future if you know when an employee will be terminated.
  3. Click Save and Close.
