This feature allows you to remove records of vendor and customer transactions that have been paid and have a zero balance. Clearing data frees up more space on your hard drive.
Sage Simply Accounting's adjusting and voiding transactions features can only be used if transactions have not been cleared. So, we recommend you delay clearing paid transactions in your records as long as possible.
Before clearing paid invoices:
You can still able to view transaction details on reports and in the transaction windows after you have cleared the transaction details.
