Add, Rename, or Remove a Module's Additional Information Boxes

Before you can perform these tasks

To add, rename, or remove a module's Additional Information boxes:

Add or rename an Additional Information box

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, select Settings. Open the module you want to change the Additional Information boxes for and select Names.
  2. Type the label you want to use for the information you will be entering in the information box. For example, you might call a box "Created on" if you want to know when an account was added to your books.
  3. Click OK.

Remove an Additional Information box

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, select Settings. Open the module you want to change the Additional Information boxes for and select Names.
  2. Clear the text from the information box you want to remove from the records.
  3. Click OK.

Note: These changes affect all records in a module.
