Vendor Records Window

In this tab, record your vendor's address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address and Web site, the date they became your vendor, as well as your contact points with this vendor, such as the department that serves them.

Some of the information entered here appears on the printed material generated by Sage Simply Accounting. For example, the vendor's name and address are printed on the cheques issued to them.

Assign a department to a vendor (Premium)

Add or modify the date you started doing business with a vendor

Add or change a vendor's tax ID

Use the Options tab to track:

• Language preference
• Early payment terms
• Type of currency used in the purchase
• Use of preferred location to store inventory purchased (Premium)

Note: Once you process a transaction with a vendor, you cannot change the currency option. You must enter a new vendor record using a different currency if you want to make this change.

This tab allows you to set up the sales taxes a vendor charges you.

If you make direct payments to this vendor, select Allow Direct Deposits For This Vendor and enter their bank account information in this tab.
