Add or Modify Memos in an Employee Record

You can place a note or attach a task in an employee's record, and display it in the Daily Business Manager.

To add or modify a memo in an employee record:

  1. Open the Memo tab in the employee record. How?
      1. In the Home window, click Employees & Payroll on the navigation pane.
      2. In the Tasks pane, right-click the Employees icon and select Modify Employee from the menu.
      3. Select an employee from the list and click OK.
      4. Click the Memo tab.
  2. In the Memo box, add or modify the note or reminder about this employee.
  3. (Optional) To display this memo in the Daily Business Manager,
  1. Select the Display This Memo in the Daily Business Manager check box.
  2. If the memo has an end date or due date, in the To-Do Date box, type or select a date.
  1. Click Save and Close.

To remove a memo from an employee record:

  1. Open the Memo tab in the employee record. How?
      1. In the Home window, click Employees & Payroll on the navigation pane.
      2. In the Tasks pane, right-click the Employees icon and select Modify Employee from the menu.
      3. Select an employee from the list and click OK.
      4. Click the Memo tab.
  2. Click the Clear Memo button.
  3. Click Save and Close.
