Enter an Account's Opening Balance
To add an opening balance to a bank account or a business operating
account:
Note: In Simply Accounting, you can only enter an opening balance during the first year of business .
- In the Home window,
on the Tools menu, select For My Accountant,
and then Account Information.
- From the list in
the Select field, choose the bank account
to which you're adding an opening balance.
- Click the Info tab.
- Enter an opening
balance.
- Click Save
and Close.
