Move or Resize a Column in a Transaction Window

You can customize a transaction window by moving a column or by changing its size.

Note:  Moving or changing the width of columns does not affect how these columns appear on printed forms and reports.

To change a column's size:

  1. In the transaction window, move the pointer over the border between two columns. The pointer changes to a .
  2. Drag the column border to the left or right, then release the mouse button.

Note: You can hide columns using this method by dragging the column border all the way to the left.

To move a column:

  1. In the transaction window, move the pointer to the middle of a column heading, and hold down the left mouse button. The pointer changes to a .
  2. Drag the column to its new location, then release the mouse button.

To restore the columns to their default size and position:

On the View menu choose Restore Window.
