Modify a Custom Form for Cheques

You must have Crystal Reports Writer installed on your computer.

1. In the Home window on the Setup menu, choose Reports and Forms.
2. Under Cheques, select an account from which the cheques are issued.
3. Choose from the following:

If you are modifying non-payroll cheques

Under the Payment Cheque Settings section, in the Form Type box, select Custom Crystal Reports Form.

If you are modifying payroll cheques

Under the Payroll Cheque Settings section, in the Form Type box, select Custom Crystal Reports Form.

4. In the Description box, select a template.
5. Click Customize Form.

2. Under Cheques, select an account from which the cheques are issued.
3. Choose from the following:

If you are modifying non-payroll cheques

Under the Payment Cheque Settings section, in the Form Type box, select Custom Simply Form.

If you are modifying payroll cheques

Under the Payroll Cheque Settings section, in the Form Type box, select Custom Simply Form.

4. In the Description box, select the User-defined option.
5. Click Customize Form.
6. In the Select Simply Form window, from the list in the Form Type box, select the cheque form type you want to customize.
7. Select one of the following options:
• Create New Form From Template. Sage Simply Accounting will create a new form from a default template.
• Customize Existing User-defined Form. If you are customizing an existing form (one that you had designed and saved), enter the location and name of the form file, or click Browse to open the file directory.
8. Click OK.
