The Record of Employment (ROE)

In Canada, you must give an employee who leaves your company a Record of Employment (ROE) form. For more information about the ROE, contact Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC).

There are two ways you can prepare ROE forms in Sage Simply Accounting:

• ROE Web - if you have registered for ROE Web, you can prepare one or more ROE forms as a single file and upload them to the government web site
• Printed ROE - print the information on a pre-printed ROE form

Note: There is no ROE form for parental leave (QPIP), but you can get any information you need from the Employee Detail Report.
