Update Employee Claims Subject To Indexing

To update the federal, provincial, or territorial personal tax credit amounts subject to indexing for all employees:

  1. In the Home window on the Maintenance menu, choose Update Employee Claims.
  2. To update the federal claims:
  3. Select Update All Employees' Federal Claims By.
  4. Select whether you want to change the amount by a factor or by an amount.
  5. Enter a positive number to increase the claim amount, or a negative number to decrease the claim amount
  6. To update provincial or territorial claims:
  7. Select a province or territory.
  8. Select whether you want to change the amount by a factor or by an amount.
  9. Enter a positive number to increase the claim amount, or a negative number to decrease the claim amount.
  10. Click OK.

Note:  You cannot enter a zero amount in the selected claim boxes.
