Display Help in Sage Simply Accounting

At any time, you can choose Contents from the Help menu to display the Help window.

To get help about:

A specific subject

Type your subject or question in the help search box of the Home window and press the ENTER key. Alternatively, in the Help window, click the Search tab, type your subject or question in the Search box and click Search.

Icons in the Home window

Press the F1 key when an icon is highlighted.

Menu items

Press the F1 key with any menu item selected.

Information messages or warning messages

Click the Help button on any message to get additional information.

Elements in most windows

When you place the mouse pointer over an icon, box, or menu item, descriptive text appears in the status bar (at the bottom of the window).

Display the online version of help

You can choose between displaying the help that is installed on your computer or the help that is available from the Simply Accounting web site. Compared to the installed help, the online version of help is updated between software releases.

To display the online help version every time you open a Help window, in the Home window, on the Help menu, select Use Online Help.
