Calculate Profit on Inventory Items

Before you can perform these tasks

Switch to single-user mode (Premium)

To calculate the profit on inventory items, use one of the following profit evaluation methods:

Markup method

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. On the left side of the window, click Inventory & Services and then Options.
  3. In the Profit Evaluation Method area, select the Markup option.
  4. Click OK.

Margin method

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. On the left side of the window, click Inventory & Services and then Options.
  3. In the Profit Evaluation Method area, select the Margin option.
  4. Click OK.
