Change the Number Range for an Account Group
Before you can perform this task
- Switch
to single-user mode
- Have your accountant
re-number any accounts with numbers that do not fall within your planned
account number ranges.
To change the account number range for a group
of accounts:
- In the Home window,
on the Setup menu, select Settings. Open
General (Accounts), and select Numbering.
- Change the Ending Account Number for the last Account
Group in the table.
- Change the Starting Account Number for the last Account
Group in the table.
- Repeat steps 2
and 3 for each Account Group, working from
the bottom up.
- Click OK.
