The Vendor Aged Reports

The Vendor Aged Detail report lists the invoices and payments for all or selected vendors for each aging period. Payments and fully paid invoices you have cleared from your Sage Simply Accounting data do not appear on this report.

There are three aging periods:

First Aging Period

Includes all invoices older than a specified number of days (for example, 30) but not old enough to be included in the Second period.

Second Aging Period

Includes all invoices older than a specified number of days (for example, 60), but not old enough to be included in the Third period.

Third Aging Period

Includes all invoices older than a specified number of days (for example, 90).

Invoices that are not old enough to be included in the First period are listed as Current.

The summary report lists the total, current, and aged amounts you owe selected vendors.

The aging is based on the date you specify in the As At box. You can change the length of the aging periods in your settings.

Note: If you use a foreign currency, any foreign payments reported in the home currency contain realized exchange gains and losses. The payment amount is equal to the payment in the foreign currency multiplied by the payment exchange rate plus the realized exchange gain or loss.
