Import General Journal Entries

To import general journal entries from a text file:

1. In the Home window on the File menu, choose Import/Export, and then Import Transactions.
2. When the Import Transactions Wizard starts, select the Import general journal entries into Sage Simply Accounting option, then click Next.
3. (Optional) To back up your data before proceeding, click Back Up. When the backup is finished, click Next.
4. Enter the location of the file you want to import, or click Browse to navigate to its location, then click Next.
5. Review the import log for errors and then click OK.
6. Click Finish to close the wizard.
7. (Optional) To check that the entries are correct, in the Home window on the Reports menu, choose Transaction Details, and then General Journal.
